I had seen many people adapt this costume from the film Tangled, but I had never seen anyone try to incorporate the glowing hair.
I drafed a custom pattern for the dress and hand painted the skirt based on the movie's concept art and the things she paints in her room. I styled and braided the wig, with the flower details, as well as threading through electro-luminecent wires which create the glowing effect and are connected to a hidden powersource and switch.

For this I created custom patterns for the dress and leather bodice then stitched them both on my sewing machine and added eyelets. the blue leatehr details were done by painting strips with acrylic paint and then stitching them on. I also created the back scabbard system so that the sword would be wearable and I could draw the sword unassisted.

This is also a custom dress pattern with a lace up back and flared sleeves. I also made a simple chemise to go under the dress. The feather/fur neck piece was created with second hand synthetic fur and real feathers whichi bought as white and dyed and styled by hand.
These cosplays were mad to wear to Fantasy Forest 2025 as part of a group costume. We were Nimue and her pearents, Lenore and Merlin, from the netflix show cursed.

When designing this costume I wanted the pieces to be separate so that I could wear them with other outfits. I created it so that there are 4 pieces the top, the skirt, the chemise (with atached sleeves), and the hat. all of the 'spots' have been hand painted, all of the patterns were custom, and I hand embroiderd the eyelet holes for the lacing on the top.

I created this custom cosplay for my younger sister for World Book Day. I drafted the pattern and completed all the sewing and then we worked together to incorporate the glowing eyes - made from LED units which screw together through carefully cut holes in the fabric.

I created this space age armour out of pleather and papier mache for my sister to wear in a space themed Bacup Carnival parade.
