1950s Dress for Beamish museum

Made April - May 2024

As part of a live project we researched and recreated 1950s outfits. My Costume was then chosen to be displayed at the museum from June - December 2024.

Rapunzel Cosplay

Made June 2024

I drafted a custom pattern for the bodice and did custom painting for the skirt designs based on artwork form the movie. I also styled and braided the wig.

Millinery - The Three Musketeers

Made October 2024 - February 2025

  1. The Musketeer - A blocked felt hat, with a lining and curled/dyed feathers

  2. MiLady - A blocked, covered buckram hat with lining and curled/dyed feathers

  3. The Cardinal - A flat pattern hat, reinforced with buckram, with gold piping

  4. Constance - a steam blocked straw hat with hand made and shaped flowers

Leather Vambraces - Lord of the Rings

Made February - April 2024

This is a recreation of Boromir/Aragorn’s vambraces from Lord of the Rings. I consulted with experts to help source the veg tanned leather and copied the design into the leather by hand, dyed the leather, and did the saddle stitching.

1960s Dress

Made September 2023

I designed and handpainted the fabric pieces then constructed the dress. This piece was chosen to be part of an exhibition at the Hartlepool Museum called: 1960’s Fashionista: The Marguerite Elliot Collection.

Embriodered Cloak

Made January 2022

One of the first things I made: I adapted a pattern for the cloak and designed the embroidery myself and hand stitched the embroidery, seams and eyelet holes.

The Cruicble

September 2024 - May 2025

I have created costumes for the final show of the graduating actors. After the show I will include photos of my costumes, but for now here are my final designs.

Mushroom Costume

Made June 2024

This was built in 4 pieces - the chemise with red poof sleeves, the lace-up top with embroidered eyelets, the skirt with custom panted spots and the hat which I consturcted over an existing hat.

My Work Experience

Summer 2024

With Allana Vincent

I shadowed and assisted Allana for 2 weeks: we created flowers and added lace to a wedding dress, had a final fitting with a client, constructed the shell for a jacket, and helped construct 2 opera costumes.

January - April 2023

Dansworks Dance Academy of Performing Arts CIC

I constructed costumes for the annual dance show: I made skirts for primary tap, designed and made costumes for the inter/senior jazz and costructed many, many hair bows.
